Grand Theft Auto 3D

A drug war appeared to be underway in Brazil and during the shootout, they managed to shoot down a police helicopter. Two officers were killed in the nonsense. SMH. I wonder if and when America the Bully is going to step in and help with the drug wars. They stick their nose everywhere else. I wonder why they haven't done that yet...Hmmm...makes you wonder...

Chicago has some really troubled people. Some police believe they are above the law and God when they recieve the badge...Although, this situation is degrading to the young man, it also shows how some police really think and act.

15 Year Old Beaten By 30 Teens

So really...Does it take 30 people to beat up one person? Are you really that scary? I mean come on...

Father Shoots Daughter's Boyfriend..Hmmm

Soooo.....hmmmm.....what do you guys think?

Throwback Jams Of The Day : Cash Money Edition

I woke up this morning listening to Lil Wayne's "The Block Is Hot" album. So I figured that I would a put up a couple of my favorite Cash Money/Hot Boy$ songs. Enjoy.

Big Tymers - Get Your Roll On

Hot Boy$ - We On Fire

Turk - It's In Me

I will continue this post later.....

Young Buck Calls Into Shade45

Young Buck calls in to Shade45 and says that he wants to work it out with 50 Cent. I'm glad. I just hope 50 cuts the bullshit out so Buck can put that flame back in the streets. These guys did make good music together. Let's just be honest.

Lil Boosie - Mind Of A Maniac

I hate the fact that Bad Azz has to go in right when his album was taking off. Now there is no chance of promotion. I just hope that Webbie carries the torch and keeps the name alive. Kinda like what Bun did for Pimp. Well here is the "Mind Of A Maniac" video, which is the best song on the album in my opinion. SUPER BAD IN STORES NOW!

Banned Heineken Commercial

All I can say is what the hell...LOL

Breaking The Stereotype Video

This appeared to be an experiment where they placed a young white girl in the street and a man tries to abduct her. It was amazing how so many people walked past until two young black males decided to take action.

"Nigger Rig It?"

"Obama's plan for healthcare: N****r rig it." This is in Georgia. Nothing new. Racism since the beginning of time and it's not going to stop until God calls time out on this small planet.

Toledo, Ohio

This looks like a movie scene. Ridiculous. I don't believe how people can do things without thinking. The shootout, involving multiple gunmen, took place Thursday, Oct. 8 around 11:30 p.m. Police say it is amazing no one was hit since 17 shots were fired in about one minute. It started, police say, when a patron was asked to leave because a bar employee said he was trying to sell marijuana. Security was called to escort the patron out of the bar, but a fight ensued instead. Police say friends of that patron began firing toward the floor. An employee behind the bar retrieved a gun and also began shooting. It is the patron who was being escorted out of the bar that police are trying to identify. They are also trying to identify his friends, fearing retaliation toward employees at the bar. Police ask anyone with information that can assist in the identity of the shooters to call Crime Stopper at (419) 255-1111.

Blooper Of The Day

This man catches the Holy Ghost at his wedding. This looks like it's from the early 90s but its still very funny. Check him out. GLOOORRRRYYYY!

Throwback Jams Of The Day

From now on, I will include a Classic Soul throwback along with an R&B and Hip-Hop Edition. I hope I to make someone's day!

The first throwback is from an incredible group entitled New Birth. The song is from 1973 and the title is "Wildflower". This song was sampled by Jamie Foxx, Three 6 Mafia, Fat Joe and a few others. Great music. Great music. My favorite part of the song starts around 3:00. There was so much emotion and passion in the 70s sound...

The next throwback jam is from Mary J. Blige. "I Can Love You" featuring Lil Kim. Taken from her 1997 Share My World album. In my personal opinion, it is her best album to date. I loved this video and this was the KIM that I fell in love with. I dunno who the hell she is today. Anyway....Enjoy!

The last throwback of the day is from Mad Lion. I believe this video is from 1994...can't really remember and don't feel like looking it up either. But I know that real hip-hop heads will remember this jam. I can hear someone at work right now like "OH! THAT WAS MY ISH!"

K-CI Hailey : The SMH Edition

First of all, I will start this by saying I am the biggest JODECI fan of all time. If you go back to my first post, you will understand that. But I can't condone this type of behavior. K-Ci looks horrible and sounds like hell. I wish these guys would have left the drugs alone. All 4 of them. SMH.

Here's a clip from the good 'ol days. Still SMH.

OMG THIS IS TOO FUNNY

This little boy is a trip. Please watch this. "I'ma blow this muthafucka up if I don't get my muthafuckin' change!" "Fuck you you Ezell lookin muthafucka!" I think I'm dead from laughter.

Law Abiding Citizen

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice.

Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.

Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton's high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Shelton's crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.

Soooo...Slim Thug's A Comedian?

Album Review : Slim Thug "Boss Of All Bosses"

From the start I'm going to say that I admire Slim Thug's hustle and work ethic. Although he has only released two major solo albums to date, he still has a lot of respect in the south. With that said, let's talk about the album. I won't give a track for track but I will point out the album's standouts!

He starts the album off pretty strong with the title track, "Boss Of All Bosses". It has a pretty solid hook. The beat catches you in the first three seconds. The subject matter is typical Slim Thug. He tells you about himself, where he came from and his claim to fame. 4.5 of 5

"I'm Back" features Devin the Dude. If you haven't heard of the Dude, then kill yourself. Pretty nice hook. The production goes to Mr. Lee although Dr. Dre produced the original track. I tend to favor the Dre production better but Mr. Lee did the best he could I guess. I feel that this was an album filler that could have been left off. 3 out of 5.

"I Run" was the album's single. Pretty catchy. Love the hook. Slim drops some pretty good verses on this cut. "I'm still in the hood/I can't leave the streets/It's in my blood/I'm a thug til I be deceased." 4 out of 5.

"Smile" could have also been a single. Pretty catch hook. The song is mainly aimed at the ladies. I believe that he should have shot a video for this one instead of the dreary/monotonous "Thug".

"She Like That" features Killa Kyleon and this is one of my favorites off of the album. It has a nice, strip club, bass heavy vibe to it. I actually heard this for the first time while tipping in Body Tap. I give this song 5 stars. I love the hook and Killa Kyleon caught me off guard with his verse.

To wrap up this review I will point out the albums best tracks."Associates" features Z-Ro and J-Dawg. The hook is so murderous. Excuse my expression. The whole song has a "F*** friends" vibe to it. It is one of my favorites as well. The production is handled by Mr. Lee and I must say that he chose the perfect people to rock it. "Hard" features Scarface and J-Dawg. The Facemob verse is a recycled one but it fits the production so perfectly. Also, J-Dawg really stole the show on this track. He paints a very vivid picture about struggling to survive in the ghetto. "This goes for you hoes who think I'm glorifying crack/My mama's lights off/The whole house is pitch black..." Definitely 5 stars.

Although it's not a Southern classic, it does rank high in the books. Slim Thug showcased a lot of growth and versatility on this album. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. 4 out of 5 stars for the overall album.

Slept On Artist : Letoya Luckett

LeToya Nicole Luckett - She was a founding member of the R&B female group Destiny's Child, with whom she won two Grammy Awards and sold countless records. After signing a record deal with Capitol Records, she pursued a successful solo career. Her solo debut album, LeToya, which was released in 2006, topped the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart in July 2006 and was certified platinum by the RIAA in December 2006. She was also named "One of the Best New Artists of 2006" by AOL and the "Top Songwriter of 2006" by ASCAP. I believe Miss Luckett is very slept on. Her new album is pretty nice from start to finsh. It has a nice vibe to it. If you haven't picked it up already, then you need to give her a chance and listen. I posted a couple videos and links for her below. SUPPORT THE ARTIST!!!

Classic Kobe Bryant

Here is a video of Kobe Bryant in high school. He was the truth then...but he is legend now.

R.I.P. Ashley Jewell. Condolences to Kandi...

We lose another Black man to violence. R.I.P. to Ashley Jewell. I just don't understand the logic of a lot of young men today. If a guy owes you money and you kill him, you don't recieve payment. If a guy has done something wrong to you and you kill him, he never gets the chance to show remorse and better the situation. Also, you lose your life to the system after the judicial system hangs you and he loses his life to nonsense. If you have a family, they will miss you. You won't be able to raise your children properly, neither will the victim. My whole point to this sentimental speech is that I WANT PEOPLE TO THINK BEFORE THEY ACT!!! Not just African-American men and women, I mean AMERICA as a whole.

American Drug War

"American Drug War shows how money, power and greed have corrupted not just drug pushers and dope fiends, but an entire government. More importantly, it shows what can be done about it. This is not some 'pro-drug' stoner film, but a collection of expert testimonials from the ground troops on the front lines of the drug war, the ones who are fighting it and the ones who are living it."

Nicky Barnes : American Gangster

Leroy Antonio "Nicky" Barnes (born October 15, 1933) is a former drug dealer and crime boss who led the notorious African-American crime organization known as The Council, which controlled the heroin trade in Harlem, New York, from 1972-1983. Barnes was convicted in 1978 of multiple counts of RICO violations, including drug trafficking and murder, for which he was sentenced to life in prison without eligibility for parole. In prison, Barnes turned state's evidence against his former associates in "The Council". In exchange for his testimony, Barnes was released into the Federal Witness Protection Program in August, 1998.

Streets Of New York (Documentary)

This is a pretty good and detailed documentary on the rise and fall of crime syndicates in New York dating from the 1970s. Check it out. It's a little over an hour long.

Throwback Jam Of The Day

I had to throw in this bonus video....Enjoy. Groove Me...Baby...Tonight...

Throwback Jam Of The Day

I remember when my mom would come and get from elementary school playing this song. LOL. She had the single to this and would play it and rewind it back like a million times. I had to post this. DON'T WAKE ME!!!! I'M DREEEAAAMMMMMMIIIINNNNNN!!!!

Throwback Jam Of The Day

I've been slipping on my throwbacks and I sincerely apologize! But I have a jam that I know everybody remembers. THE MICROPHONE FIEND by the numero uno MC RAKIM. I was listening to this today like "WTF". It's 2009 and no one can see him on the mic. Pay attention youngsters!

Mommy Dearest

A Black woman...I repeat. A Black woman runs over her daughter in a parking lot for sleeping with her man in Baltimore. We need to wake up people. We really need to wake up...and FAST!

Teacher Attacked For Being White? LOL or WTF?

I dunno about this one. Seems like the world is getting worse by the minute...

Pregnant 12-Yr Old Missing?!? WTF!!!!!!

This 12 year old female was NINE MONTHS PREGNANT!!! The stepfather is also missing. Hmmm...Seems kinda suspicious that they would disappear right before the young girl is supposed to give birth....

WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? THE FUCK?!?!?

A Providence, Rhode Island man, Dennis Erickson, allegedly bit off the ear of his former girlfriend’s new boyfriend and caused an accident that led to his own 6-year-old son being run over by a car Monday night. His son, Prince, is hospitalized with two broken legs and the new boyfriend, Devine Umoh, 54, has had surgery to re-attach his ear. This is ridiculous, psycho and whatever else you want to call it. SMH

50 Cent on Fat Joe's Album

This is funny as hell. 50 knows that he needs to stop. He is killing me with these comedian videos he has going on. LOL. It's what the game needs though. Some humor. A lot of these rappers are too sensitive.

Young Buck + Motorcycle = Fail!

Buck had an accident with the motorcycle while trying to be cool. Was he high? Who knows? I expect a new track to emerge about it in the next few days. We all know how emotional Buck is.

Soulja Boy - I Done Came Up

"Soulja Boy's a winner. Never ever been a loser! LMAO"

The Roots - How I Got Over (Video)

I love the Roots. I love Black Thought. The best MC out there in my opinion. Very intellectual guy. Check this new single out. The new album is scheduled to be released on October 20th.

LMFAO : Eddie Griffin's Bentley Gets...

This is crazy. I wish I could have seen this show when it aired. I guess the old Eddie came out to play in this segment.
